When I write such *bonus* newsletters, I catch myself on feeling thrilled to share the beauty of my language even more. So today I offer you to examine a few excerpts from an interview with Olga Sharkoff for the Seasons of Life magazine that always chin me up. So I highly recommend you to subscribe them on VKontakte.
Do you know how to translate into Russian “blue sky” and “blue sea”? Can you write down in the comment box your versions?

Read this excerpt and fill up the missed endings (the most important part for fluency). First, read it. Second, check out whether you could read it filling it up intuitively. Third, if not, then try to find the appropriate question for each word with a missed ending.
For example, the third one “— занавески с чем? — с кружев__”. What is the Nominative case for “кружев_”? It also can give you a hint. ;)
So, let’s take the first step.
Дом оттенка (1)цветущ___ льна — пять окон в (2)бел_х наличниках по фасаду — просто какой-то небесный пряник. На окошках белоснежные занавески с (3)кружев__. И это не только дань русской деревенской традиции.
I also advise you to find every word which challenged you with its meaning. It leaves a trace on memory.

By the way, the shade of blue was mentioned in the excerpt… Olga’s house was painted blue like blooming flax.
