I accuse, or the Accusative case
The best thing ever you can meet studying the Russian Cases is that the AC won’t change any of the ends. Yahoo!
But don’t hurry. Women are so capricious and fickle!
Just look at them.

If you realize that someone acts towards another thing or an object with the feminine gender, that’s about the AC. But there is one big BUT.

It works with inanimate objects. Let’s complete the table. What do you see?

The most common uses of the AC are:
with the prepositions “в” (in, inside), “за” (for, behind), “под” (under, below), “на” (onto, over) in the context to denote direction (answering the question куда?). But you can’t use it when a destination is a person or a person’s home.
Самолёт взлетел в воздух. The plane rose into the air.
Мы поехали за город. We drove out of town.
Поставь тарелку на стол. Put the plane on(to) the table.
Я попал под дождь. I got caught in the rain.
Мы ехали через Хельсинки. We travelled via Helsinki.
with the prepositions “на” (on, over), “за”(for, behind), “через” in time expressions.
За 10 лет он два раза был в театре. In ten years he only visited the theatre twice.
На следующий день… On the next day…
Он вернулся через 5 (пять) минут. He returned in five minutes.
in certain constructions with many verbs, including «играть во что-то» (to play a game), «положиться на что-то» (to rely on), «кричать на кого-то или что-то» (to yell at someone or something) etc.
with many common verbs expressing relationships between people, such as «любить кого-то» (to love someone), «понимать кого-то или что-то» (to understand someone), «ждать кого-то или что-то» (to wait) etc.
In two important “connecting” phrases, «несмотря на что\несмотря на то, что» (despite something, despite the fact that), «на всякий случай» (just in case).
My team is a set of books and a good playlist and of course your support. When you enroll in any language course, pay for it but do you feel satisfied with the result? We never know it beforehand. Here I share my understanding of the language and some phrases that will help you to grasp the logic of the Russian language. If you find my tips and ideas useful then…
So now I want you to put the phrases in the accusative case to complete the sentences. If you want to check out your answers, send it to my mailbox: tweedledee6@mail.ru or make a comment below.
